This policy explains what personal data Daily Tap collects when you use our mobile services, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Introduction

Daily Tap ("we", "us", "our") provides mobile value-added services (MVAS) and subscription content across the MENA and Southeast Asia regions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly, in line with applicable data-protection laws and the requirements of the mobile network operators we work with. This policy applies to dailytap.it.com and the subscription services we operate.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide, bill and support our Service:

  • Mobile number (MSISDN) — to identify your subscription, deliver content and process carrier billing.
  • Subscription details — the service you signed up to, price, billing frequency, opt-in and cancellation records.
  • Transaction & billing data — charge attempts, renewals and their status, shared with us by the carrier.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, carrier/network, and interaction with our pages, used for delivery, fraud prevention and measurement.
  • Communications — messages you send us (for example, support emails) and the email address you provide on our contact form.

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it to us unless strictly necessary.

3. How we use your data

  • To register and deliver your subscription and content.
  • To process recurring charges through your mobile carrier and reconcile payments.
  • To send service messages, including confirmation, renewal and cancellation notices.
  • To provide customer support and handle queries or disputes.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To measure and improve campaign performance and Service quality.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory and carrier obligations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of the contract for the Service you subscribe to; your consent (given at opt-in); our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by cancelling the Service.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as necessary to run the Service:

  • Mobile network operators and aggregators — to enable carrier billing and subscription management.
  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, anti-fraud and customer-support partners acting on our instructions.
  • Authorities — where required by law, regulation or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data. Any partner that processes data on our behalf is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, regulatory, billing and dispute-resolution requirements. Opt-in and billing records are typically retained for the period mandated by carrier rules and local law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse — including access controls, encryption in transit and ongoing monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work continually to safeguard your information.

8. Your rights

Subject to your local law, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@dailytap.it.com. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming the mobile number used) before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Cookies & tracking

Our web flows may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, fraud prevention and performance measurement (including server-to-server postbacks that confirm conversions). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the Service works.

10. Children

Our Service is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has subscribed, contact us and we will cancel the service and delete the associated data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology or the law. The latest version is always available on this page with its "last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
